It’s been a week full of sick kids, more missed school, and a trip to the ER. Things have been moving at a fairly slow pace. We have parties this weekend that we may not be able to make, and concerts that our kids are probably too sick to take part in, but I know that all that stuff doesn’t really matter in the long run. Our kids are happy to have us here taking care of them, and there has been that much more reading, game playing, and together time, which is never really a bad thing.
I am REALLY behind with Christmas shopping, since I’ve barely left the house, but I’ve had plenty of moments for Christmas-time shots around the house!
Wishing you a wonderful, warm and cozy weekend!
PS – Notice the book at the bottom of the stack? That is the very cool Chicago Spaces: Inspiring Interiors, that I won over at Birch & Bird! Thanks again Rachel & Lily! And the beautiful green box atop that stack contains my favorite scent from The Natural Eclectic candle collection by Heather Ross. Heavenly!

At least this is all happening this week, so hopefully all will be well before Christmas! I’ve been feeling a bit bunk too, and have been shooting lots of Christmas stories, but not actually experiencing much xmas myself yet. Good luck with your shopping!

All that matters is that your kids are alright. Oh and by the looks of it your house looks pretty alright too. So cozy.

Oh no. Well, maybe you are getting all the bad stuff behind you in time to have the best new year ever. I hope things improve over the weekend. If nothing else, enjoy the “together” time.
Sorry to hear that the family is not well. At least it will be over for Christmas!
Your home is looking warm and inviting!
