I’m excited to say that we’ve now had two weekends in a row of sun! And you know what that means!!! Garage sales! And roadside treasures just waiting to be snatched up. I’m giddy just writing this! ; ) Check out this cute pair of chairs that I found at the end of a driveway last week! I ran up and knocked on the door just to make sure they were actually getting rid of them. I can’t wait to plan an attack for how to make these babies over!! Here are some fun ideas:

I grew up with fabulous chairs like this in my Grandma’s home… and I hated them! Of course now that they’re no longer around (some other smart cookie took them home, I’m sure!!) I covet them! I was definitely a silly young person

my son used to live in San Francisco where almost every neighborhood has “free” things set out on the sidewalks. especially on sundays. good things! he picked up a set of golf clubs and a great wire bookcase. we met some SF shop owners, in the lower haight, who started their shop by collecting things from the streets (i can’t remember the name of the shop.). i’ll be excited to see what you do with the chairs.
